These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through lumaguardhome.com and to agreements between LumaGuard Home and its customers.
By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unenforceable or otherwise ineffective, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
2. Products and Product Information
LumaGuard Home sells outdoor lighting, solar-powered security lighting and related home and outdoor products.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, dimensions, colors and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, minor differences may occur due to:
- Screen settings
- Photography and lighting
- Manufacturing tolerances
- Product improvements
- Different production batches
Obvious typographical errors, pricing errors or other clear mistakes do not bind LumaGuard Home.
Product availability is subject to stock and may change without notice.
3. Orders and Formation of the Agreement
An order is submitted when you complete the checkout process on our website.
The purchase agreement is formed once LumaGuard Home accepts and confirms your order.
After placing your order, you will normally receive an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or request additional information regarding an order where there is a reasonable reason to do so, including:
- Suspected fraud
- Unauthorized payment
- Abuse of promotions
- Incorrect pricing
- Technical errors
- Payment problems
- Unavailability of a product
If we cancel an order after payment has already been received, the applicable amount will be refunded.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices on lumaguardhome.com are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
Any applicable taxes, shipping costs or other charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Payment can be made using the payment methods offered during checkout.
An order may not be processed until payment has been successfully received or authorized.
Payment providers may have their own terms and conditions that also apply to the use of their services.
5. Shipping and Delivery
LumaGuard Home currently offers shipping to eligible addresses in the United States as indicated during checkout.
Customers are responsible for entering accurate:
- Full name
- Shipping address
- Billing information
- Email address
- Telephone number where requested
Orders are normally dispatched within 2 business days.
Where Priority Processing is offered, customers may pay an additional fee to have their order dispatched within 1 business day.
Dispatch time is not the same as delivery time. Delivery begins after the order has been handed to the shipping carrier.
Any stated delivery estimates are estimates unless an exact guaranteed delivery date is expressly agreed.
Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, severe weather, customs procedures, peak periods or incorrect customer information.
If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal of delivery, failure to collect a shipment or another circumstance attributable to the customer, additional shipping costs may be charged before reshipment. The original Saraliva terms similarly place responsibility on the customer for correct address information and allow additional reshipping costs where a parcel is returned for customer-attributable reasons.
6. Risk of Loss
Where applicable under consumer law, the risk of loss or damage generally transfers to the customer once the order has been received by the customer or a third party designated by the customer, other than the carrier.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections that apply to your purchase.
7. 30-Day Return Policy
In addition to any mandatory rights that may apply, LumaGuard Home offers a 30-day return period.
You may request a return within 30 days after receiving your order.

8. Return Shipping Costs
Unless a product arrived damaged, defective or incorrect, the direct cost of returning an order is the responsibility of the customer.
LumaGuard Home does not automatically provide a prepaid return label.
Customers are responsible for selecting and paying for an appropriate shipping method.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and retaining proof of shipment until the return has been completed. This follows the structure of the original terms, which place direct return costs and transit risk on the customer and recommend Track & Trace.
9. Condition of Returned Products
Customers may inspect or test a product to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functionality.
You may be responsible for loss of value caused by handling or use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect or test the product.
Examples include:
- Physical damage
- Missing parts or accessories
- Excessive signs of use
- Improper installation
- Unauthorized modification
- Damage caused by misuse
- Damage caused by improper maintenance
Where legally permitted, a reasonable reduction in value may be deducted from the refund. The source terms likewise permit deduction for diminished value when a product has been used beyond what is necessary to assess it.
10. Refunds
Once an eligible return has been received and inspected, the applicable refund will normally be issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
We may, where permitted by applicable law, wait to issue a refund until:
- We have received the returned product, or
- You provide satisfactory evidence that the product has been returned.
Optional charges for a more expensive shipping or priority-processing method may not be refundable once that additional service has been provided.
When legally required, eligible standard delivery costs will be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer law.
11. Exchanges
LumaGuard Home does not currently provide a separate exchange service.
If you want another product or quantity, you may return an eligible item according to our Return Policy and place a new order.
Any applicable return costs and costs associated with the new order are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.
12. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order after delivery.
If you receive a product that is:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incomplete
- Different from what you ordered

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, refund or another legally appropriate solution.
This section does not limit any mandatory warranty or conformity rights you may have.

Products must conform to the reasonable expectations created by the purchase agreement and product information, subject to applicable consumer law.
The following generally do not constitute a defect for which LumaGuard Home is responsible:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Misuse
- Unauthorized modifications
- Accidental damage after delivery
- Failure to follow product instructions
- Improper maintenance
- Damage caused by uses for which the product was not designed
Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Solar Product Performance
The performance of solar-powered products can depend on environmental conditions.
Factors that may affect charging and operating time include:
- Amount of direct sunlight
- Season
- Weather conditions
- Placement of the solar panel
- Shade from buildings, trees or other objects
- Selected operating mode
- Frequency of motion detection
- Temperature
Any stated charging times, operating times, detection distances, brightness levels or similar specifications should be understood in the context of the stated test or normal-use conditions.
15. Promotions, Discounts and Discount Codes
Promotional offers and discount codes are valid only during the stated promotional period and while applicable stock is available.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash
- Multiple discount codes cannot be combined
- Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to completed purchases
- Promotional offers may be subject to specific conditions
LumaGuard Home may refuse or cancel a promotional discount in cases of fraud, abuse, technical error or an obvious pricing or discount error.
16. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, brand names, logos, product photographs, graphics, designs, texts, videos and other content displayed on lumaguardhome.com are owned by LumaGuard Home or used with permission, unless otherwise indicated.
Without prior written permission, website content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished or commercially exploited except where permitted by law.
17. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available and functioning properly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend or modify parts of our website for:
- Maintenance
- Security
- Updates
- Technical improvements
- Circumstances outside our reasonable control
We may also update product information, availability and website content from time to time.
18. Limitation of Liability
LumaGuard Home is responsible for loss or damage only to the extent required by applicable law.
To the extent legally permitted, LumaGuard Home is not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from circumstances including:
- Improper use of a product
- Improper installation
- Unauthorized modifications
- Failure to follow instructions
- Use of a product for a purpose for which it was not designed
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. This mirrors the liability framework in the underlying Saraliva terms.

21. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions and agreements with LumaGuard Home are governed by Dutch law.
This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections that apply to them under applicable consumer law in their country or jurisdiction where such protections cannot legally be excluded. The original terms likewise designate Dutch law while preserving mandatory consumer protections.
22. Changes to These Terms
LumaGuard Home may update these Terms & Conditions for future orders.
The Terms & Conditions applicable to an order are generally those that were in effect when the order was placed.
